When I get Married

This last weekend I went to a wedding and I came to the realization that this is soon to become a normal thing. The older I get, the more friends will get get engaged and the more weddings I'll get to go to. I honestly couldn't be happier about that. Marriage is a tough subject being my parents were divorced, a long with half the parents of people my age. It seems as if it's a more common thing these days. Although getting a divorce is something I do not want to participate in (unless of course, it's for necessary reasons). Choosing the person you want to spend the rest of your life with is a huge choice and getting married so young how do you truly know that you are compatible with this person because at a young age, you are still changing, growing up, and learning about yourself?
So to my future husband,
I promise to love you just as much as you love me if not more. Please be patient, kind, and respectful. Help me grow and motivate me every day to be better and I will always encourage you to do the same. Please be loyal and honest, because as long as we have those things no trust will ever be broken.
